The Lauer Foundation hosted four researchers from the NHM-UK for two weeks, September 5-19 2022. Dr David Ward, Alison Ward, Dr. Chris Duffin and Dr. Charlie Underwood visited to plan research projects and photograph specimens for an upcoming book and for teaching purposes. The visit allowed the researchers to gather information and carefully examine the collection. As a result, at least 6 projects were identified and will be worked on in the future. David and Chris participated in a Zoom call with a young shark researcher in Arizona and also attended via Zoom a meeting of the Earth Science Club of Northern Illinois.
