The Lauer Foundation participated again this year in District 200 Student Excellence Foundation’s STEM Expo on November 8th. This event was well attended and provided a pre-open viewing time for special needs students.
We presented specimens of sharks and dinosaurs and also had a challenging fossil shark tooth identification exercise for everyone. Once the exercise was completed, participants received a fossil megalodon shark tooth with scientific label and a Lauer Foundation keychain. We want to thank all the participants and the Student Excellence Foundation for an educational and fun event!
