A New Research Paper on a Shark from the Solnhofen Archipelago

The Lauer Foundation participated in a project that resulted in the research paper:  Stumpf, Sebastian, Türtscher, Julia, López-Romero, Faviel, Villalobos-Segura, Eduardo, Begat, Arnaud, Amadori, Manuel, Dearden, Richard, Lauer, Bruce, Lauer, René, Hecker, Andreas & Kriwet, Jürgen. 2026. The Lauer Foundation has one of five specimens of Bavariscyllium tischlingeri, and one of two figured. The shark is named after our good friend Dr. Helmut Tischlinger.
