Colleagues Release Two New Papers on Morocco Coprolites

Our shark research colleagues, Chris Duffin and David Ward have published two new research papers on Coprolites from Morocco. The first paper: Coprolites of the ichnogenus Alocopros from the Late Cretaceous of Morocco was published December 2023  and the second paper: First Record of the Coprolite Ichnogenus Struocopros from the Late Cretacetous of Morocco was published in Fossil Record, New Mexico Museum of Natural History and Science in 2023. The Lauer Foundation is the depository for these type specimens. The papers were also the basis for a poster at the November 2024 SVP meeting in Minneapolis.
