Lauer Foundation Funds Mazon Creek Tetrapod Project

The Lauer Foundation has been involved with the Mazon Creek tetrapod project since 2023. Recently, the Foundation provided financial assistance to travel to Japan to facilitate the Micro CT of specimen that while one half was at the Field Musuem the other half was located in Japan. We also helped fund a trip to France to visit a collection of Carboniferous tetrapods. The Foundation has three specimens included in the study. The collaboration also includes Andrew Young and Dave Douglass. Arjan Mann and Cal So direct the project.
