The 8th Mesozoic Fishes and Aquatic Tetrapods Conference was held July 10-14 at the STAATLICHES MUSEUM FÜR NATURKUNDE, Stuttgart, Germany. We were represented at the conference by our colleagues, Dr. Chris Duffin and Dr. Jan Fischer.
Chris Duffin presented on "CHIMAEROPSIS PARADOXA, A POORLY KNOWN HOLOCEPHALIAN FROM THE LATE JURASSIC OF GERMANY” based on a specimen in the Foundation collection.
Jan Fischer presented on “A REVIEW OF THE LATE JURASSIC CHONDRICHTHYAN EGG CAPSULES
FROM THE PLATTENKALK AREA OF SOUTHERN GERMANY” which included specimens in the Foundation collection.
Bruce and Rene Lauer were co-authors on both abstracts. The conference was well attended by other colleagues including, Martin Ebert and Giovani Serafini.
