Lauer Foundation is happy to announce a new project with J.P. Hodnett relating to a fish from the Kinney Quarry in New Mexico.

Bruce and Rene presented a basic geology and Paleontology presentation to over 200 students at Edison Middle School in Wheaton, Illinois.

In early June two French fossil shark researchers visited the Lauer Foundation to examine and document Cretaceous shark specimens from Lebanon.

Our good friend, Dr. Dave Hone from Queen Mary’s University, has published a research paper on two Pterosaur specimens in the Foundation collection.

Dr. Andy Heckert from Appalachian State University has helped the Lauer Foundation by introducing us to one of his current students.

Dr, Jérémy Anquetin from the Jurassica Museum in Switzerland along with his student Gaël Spicher visited the Lauer Foundation from April 1 thru the 5th.

A new shipment of important Jurassic and Permian fossils arrived on March 31.

Researchers Skye McDavid and Henry Thomas visited the Lauer Foundation in early March 2025.

We acquired an interesting little ray at the Tucson show in January which may be something new

On February 3, 2025 a paper titled “Gregarious behavior in Carboniferous cyclical crustaceans” was published in the journal Biology Letters.

Chris Duffin worked with us during his visit in October 2024 to write and compile two new research papers that were published.
