A trip to Tucson in January is always a welcome escape from the cold of Chicago. Once again, we met with old friends and research colleagues.

We are please to announce our friend and colleague Giovanni Serafini has defended his Phd. We met the now Dr. Serafini in 2021 in the midst of Covid.

Several years ago at the Tucson show, David Ward and the Lauer Foundation acquired a possible skull of Otodus from the phosphate mines of Morocco.

The pterosaurs are extinct flying reptiles that lived alongside their close relatives, the dinosaurs.
